Today we went for a weekend trip to Australian Pioneer Village, one of the first few mainland settlements of the colonial British settlers in the mainland Australia. Situated at Wilberforce, close to 50 km North West from Sydney and good 50 min – 1 hr drive, is a monument to Australia’s history maintained primarily by volunteers. The Village has preserved a site of settler’s village from early to late 18th century and the lifestyle back then, complete with the displays of typical household, rooms, the workshops, eateries, steam train, horse stables, vehicles and lot more.
